The event was held on Sunday, 10/11/2024, at 6:00 PM at the Lakemba Library Auditorium in Australia, organized by the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and associated affiliates to commemorate National Revolution and Solidarity Day. The discussion was attended by Mr. Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, a member of the BNP Standing Committee, as the chief guest, and Mr. Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, Senior Joint Secretary General of BNP, as the keynote speaker. Special remarks were given by Mr. Md. Rashedul Haque, International Affairs Secretary of the BNP National Executive Committee.
The event was presided over by FM Tawhidul Islam, President of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Australia Branch, while Mohammad Haider Ali, General Secretary of BNP Australia, conducted the program. Special remarks were also delivered by Mr. Ami Ferdous, International Affairs Secretary of the BNP Volunteer Wing. Other speakers included BNP Australia Vice Presidents Selim Liaquat and Fayzur Chowdhury; Convenor of BNP Volunteer Wing Australia, Moshior Rahman Tuhin; Convenor of BNP Youth Wing Australia, Jahangir Alam; along with Shariful Islam Shibli, Khadija Zaman Rumppa, and Engineer Rezwanur Rahman Rupun.
The program began with a recitation and prayer from the Holy Quran, led by Ilyas Hossain, BNP Australia’s Religious Affairs Secretary. A keynote presentation on the constitution was delivered by M.A. Saeed, Assistant Professor at Jahangirnagar University, a constitutional expert and Ph.D. Fellow at the University of New South Wales.
Professor Dr. Moniruzzaman delivered a welcome speech.
