India accused Pakistani PM behind attack on Karachi Stock Exchange

Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan has accused India of being behind the attack on the Karachi Stock Exchange. In a speech to parliament on Tuesday (June 30th), he claimed that Pakistan had no doubts about it. Imran Khan claims that India wanted to carry out incidents like the 2008 Mumbai attacks in Karachi. This information has come from the report of Pakistani media Dawn.

The Karachi Stock Exchange in Pakistan was attacked on Monday (June 29th) morning. Four armed assailants detonated a grenade at the entrance of the building and opened fire on security personnel and officials. Three security personnel and a police sub-inspector were killed. The assailants were later killed in a counter-attack by security forces.

Blaming India for the incident, Imran Khan said in Parliament on Tuesday, ‘They wanted to do the same thing in Karachi that happened in Mumbai; They wanted to spread uncertainty. We have no doubt that India did it, ”he said, referring to the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks. More than 160 people were killed in the attack. India blames Pakistan for the attack.

Imran Khan praised the police and security personnel killed in the Karachi attack and called them ‘heroes of Pakistan’. He said, ‘They have prevented major incidents by sacrificing themselves. India planned that incident to destabilize us. ‘

The Pakistani prime minister claimed that the attackers had huge weapons and explosives and wanted to take many people hostage. Imran Khan said, ‘My cabinet and its ministers all know that all our agencies are on high alert. Our agencies have resisted at least four major terrorist attacks. “We are fully prepared … this is our huge victory,” he said.

The Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), which was declared illegal in Pakistan, claimed responsibility on social media after Monday’s attack. This armed group is fighting against Pakistan for the independence of Balochistan. However, the head of Pakistan’s Paramilitary Rangers told a news conference after the attack that it reflected the frustration of the Indian intelligence agency RAW.
