

Sydney, 15 October 2024:
The Bangladesh Nationalist Volunteers Party (Bangladesh Jatiotabadi Swechchasebok Dal), Australia Chapter, has officially approved a 21-member partial convening committee for its New South Wales (Sydney) branch.
The committee was formally approved by Mr. Mashiur Rahman Tuhin, Convener of BNP Australia, and Mr. Zahidur Rahman, Member Secretary, according to an official statement issued by the organisation.
Under the new structure, Mr. Mithu Bepari has been appointed as Convener of the NSW branch, while Mr. Mohammad Nur Alam serves as Joint Convener. Other Joint Conveners include Ms. Azijun Nahar, Mr. Mohammad Nurul Huda, Mr. Maksudur Rahman, Mr. Ibrahim Sikder, Mr. Mohammad Ashraful Islam, Mr. Mohammad Rahman Hossain, and Ms. Sharmin Sultana.
Mr. Abdul Hannan has been named as the Member Secretary.
The committee also includes members Talha Ibne Tanin Ali, Minar Hossain Badol, Tarif Bin Jamal Rifat, Ashar Uz Zaman, Kamal Sikder, Muntasir Rakib Rashad, Mohammad Faridun Hossain, Siam Ahmed Sani, Mahmudul Hossain, Atiqur Rahman, and Mirna Akter.
In an official statement to the media, Mr. Mohammad Mostafizur Rahman, Joint Convener of BNP Australia, congratulated the newly appointed members and expressed optimism about the committee’s role in strengthening the party’s organisational activities in Australia.
He said, “This new committee will play an important role in uniting and mobilising BNP and Swechchasebok Dal activists across New South Wales. We believe it will bring new enthusiasm and coordination to our political and community engagement in Australia.”
Mr. Rahman extended his best wishes to all the new committee members and called upon them to work collectively towards promoting the ideals of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party among the expatriate Bangladeshi community.
